Clean Investments - Wilderhill Clean Energy Index
“Money talks.”
“Put your money where your mouth is.”
Clean energy (and the larger fight against global warming) has seen a rather major uptick in popular consciousness lately. Even conservative Evangelical leaders are getting behind this problem as a moral issue.
Aside from the obvious things we can do (change light bulbs, install an energy-efficient thermostat and shower head, write our congressman, etc.) to support clean energy and fight global warming, there are a few more ideas from out in left field (pardon the pun)! How about invest in companies that somehow contribute to clean energy solutions?
Presenting the Wilderhill Clean Energy Index/Portfolio. This acts very much like a stock or mutual fund; you purchase shares and invest in these “green” companies. Yours truly has 100 shares. Cool, huh? Talk to your financial advisor about it.
Oh, and An Inconvenient Truth is out on DVD!
